Shoot: New Product Deodorant Plus Sweat Control
Role: Photoshoot Concept, Shot List, Concept Board Creation, Model Selection, Art Direction
The Ask:
Create a high-impact photoshoot to launch Mando’s Sweat Control deodorant—showcasing the science, power, and performance of the product. The creative needed to highlight sweat, movement, and contrast, while making the product pop visually in a way that aligned with the brand’s bold orange-and-blue identity.
The Work:
I led the creative direction for the shoot, developing a detailed shot list and concept guide for the photographer. We hired models that reflected our target audience and planned visual scenarios that emphasized energy, grit, and a tech-forward aesthetic. From lighting to wardrobe, everything was selected to amplify the contrast between the bright orange packaging and deep, cool blues—bringing the science-forward vibe to life in a way that felt human and high-impact.
The Result:
A powerful set of launch visuals that captured the product’s performance promise in every frame. The images elevated the brand’s visual presence across ads, website, and retail—creating a distinct look for Sweat Control that felt modern, athletic, and undeniably Mando.
Shoot: Outdoor Hunting
Role: Photoshoot Concept, Shot List, Concept Board Creation, Model Selection, Art Direction
Photography Credit: Lucas Clark
The Ask:
Explore a new creative direction rooted in outdoor and hunting culture to test its resonance with Mando’s target audience. The goal was to create ad-ready visuals that felt authentic, rugged, and aligned with the brand’s real-world utility.
The Work:
I concepted the shoot and partnered with a trusted hunting photographer, an old friend and local creative, who understood the lifestyle and landscape. I was on set to provide art direction and ensure the visuals aligned with brand tone and marketing goals. The shoot was intentionally natural and grounded, capturing product usage in real outdoor environments with the right balance of grit and warmth. We focused on relatable moments and subtle branding that spoke to hard-working, outdoor-oriented customers.
The Result:
A set of authentic, high-impact visuals that helped us tap into a growing segment of our audience. The assets were used across paid ads and organic content, and they played a key role in validating that hunting and outdoor messaging was a compelling, scalable angle for the Mando brand.
